Project description
Beyondness In sculpture, it is very interesting to appreciate "emptiness" from "existence" and then to identify "existence" from "emptiness". Between the aesthetic image and the material carrier, there is often a vague interest in fusion and twin phenomenon. The volumetric composition of the sculpture itself is the basis of existence, and the appearance of external light and shadow defines the quality of the "empty" it surrounds. In this "pericardial emptiness" space, the sculptural entity becomes a container for interpreting the beauty of emptiness. What seems to be the illusion of light and shadow, achieving the beauty of volume and shape, is actually an attempt to elicit the imagination of a transparent void and overtones.
