Project description
Shanhu Lake Japanese Resort Hotel, Tainan The Japanese-style resort hotel, nestled within the Wushantou Reservoir Scenic Area at Shanhu Lake in Tainan, is an exquisite accommodation that perfectly blends natural landscapes, cultural history, and vacation comfort. The hotel's design draws inspiration from the historical connection to Yoichi Hatta, who built the Wushantou Reservoir during the Japanese colonial period. Featuring modern minimalist Japanese architectural style, the hotel masterfully incorporates abundant natural wood and materials, creating a holiday sanctuary that harmoniously coexists with its surroundings. Built along the hillside and waterfront, the hotel's three-story terraced architectural design not only ensures that the building mass doesn't impact the overall landscape but also offers spectacular views of Shanhu Lake from every angle. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow abundant natural light to flood the interior, enabling guests to enjoy the beautiful lake views whether relaxing in their rooms or spending time in public spaces. The Japanese gardens and walking paths surrounding the building, complemented by thoughtfully designed water features, create a serene and elegant vacation atmosphere.
