Project description
The overall structure of the seat is inspired by the elegance of bridge architecture.
Bamboo is used as the primary supporting material for the seat, forming a graceful arch reminiscent of a bridge. The bamboo’s natural elasticity and excellent heat absorption create a cool and refreshing sitting experience, akin to dipping into a mountain stream. The seat’s bamboo slats are interwoven with contrasting wooden inlays, resembling musical notes dancing across a sheet of music.
The legs are crafted from dark walnut and light maple, creating a contrast reminiscent of piano keys. The horizontal structure beneath the seat is reinforced with steel cables, echoing both the suspension cables of a bridge and the strings of a piano.
By integrating bamboo and wood, this piece achieves both lightness and comfort. Its clean and lively lines evoke a cheerful melody dancing through the mountains.
